| What is the admission procedure?
|
The advertisement is released in national & regional newspapers the course is starting.
You could personally come over to the Institute to collect the application form or you can get it online.
Completed application forms will have to be submitted as per the announced dates.
Students are admitted to the course on the basis of their performance in Entrance Test and Personal Interview during which their drawing skills and creative abilities are tested.
You will be informed about the date, timing and venue of the Entrance Test. You can select any suitable place from the list of centres given, to appear for the Entrance Test.
Based on your performance in the Entrance Test you will be called for the Interview at the centre.

| Are there any eligibility criteria?
|
Experienced persons with demonstrated professional accomplishments in relevant disciplines of Fine Arts and other creative fields but not having formal qualifications may apply.
Such applicants need to make extra effort for proving their inclination and motivation towards multimedia and computer arts.
Applicants with backgrounds in Master in Fine Arts, Bachelor in Fine Arts, either Commercial, Painting, Sculpture, or Textile, Bachelor in Architecture, G.D. Arts, or any other equivalent degree or diploma holders in the field of Fine Arts are given preference for selection.
Students appearing for the final examinations of any of these courses are also eligible to apply.

| How do I prepare for the Entrance Test?
|
The Test will be about 3 hours duration and you don't need any special preparations.
It is designed to assess your drawing skills and creative abilities.
|
| What is the Interview like?
|
You will be given an opportunity to present your earlier academic or professional work.
Its best if you could bring approximately 4/5 of your selected works.
There may be questions regarding your background, professional goals and interests or your future plans.

| What is the basis for selection?
|
The selection will be based on the overall criteria of your performance in Entrance Test, academic background, your awareness of multimedia, portfolio and motivation.
|
| What are the timings?
|
Diploma in Advanced Computer Arts is a full time course of 25 weeks duration.
The lab will be available for about 10/11 hrs. every day except for Sunday.

|
In the present scenario, commercial artists who are familiar with computing technology have a wide range of opportunities.
The Advertising and Marketing fields are looking forward to such well-trained artists who will utilize multimedia technology in an imaginative manner.

Their skills could be put to use for CD publishing and CBT development.

Skills developed during the Low Cost Multimedia section enable you to start your own multimedia enterprise. You will be able to offer various multimedia services.

| What is the eligibility criteria for your courses ?
|
The only eligibility criteria is a knack for learning an art which requires dedication, patience and deep understanding. Other than that, basic computer skills are essential. There is no age limit because we believe that creativity is not bound by age. We have students among all age groups and all backgrounds.

| Do you provide placements?
|
We provide full assistance in this regard with preparing students for interviews, having campus recruitment drives and maintaining databases of all students to provide clients instant student CVs and projects for review.
